Itinerary

DAY 01:BUENOS AIRES

Arrival in Buenos Aires. Pickup at the EZE Airport.

Buenos Aires, cosmopolitan and elegant capital of Argentina, with a population of 12 million inhabitants, it is usually referred to as the Paris of South America. Transfer to the hotel to do the check in and proceed to the tour.

Half day sightseeing tour, a different and original approach to discover the city’s most beautiful and interesting places, bars and avenues, to live its cultural life and to see its rich history come alive. A tour covering the most outstanding points of interest: ‘9 de Julio´ Avenue, Colón Theatre (Opera House), San Telmo neighborhood, the birthplace of the city which is May Square, it also is a historical and political centre, La Boca district, famous for ‘Caminito’ street, May Avenue, Recoleta district, famous  for its Cemetery and Palermo neighborhood with its gorgeous park, enormous and beautiful, located in the heart of one of the most elegant areas in the city. Overnight at the selected hotel.

                             

DAY 02: BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast at the hotel.

Day at leisure.

In the evening, dinner and Tango Show. Buenos Aires is the birthplace of Tango, born in the brothels of the city, just before the beginning of the 1880’s. Tango is not only a dance but also an obsession. Erotic and passionate, haunting and melancholic, it involves not only the body but also the soul. Tango has captured the popular imagination for over one hundred years and has become an international cult. A 3-course dinner with selected Argentine wines and an excellent beef will be served while enjoying, an impressive musical show where the main character is the Tango. Overnight.  

                               

DAY 03: BUENOS AIRES – IGUAZU

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer out to the airport to take the flight to Puerto Iguazu. At the border conjunctions of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil, Puerto Iguazu is the entry gate to the impressive falls which can be enjoyed from both, Argentine and Brazilian sides. Transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon: Half day Brazilian Falls tour the tropical rain forest provides the ideal setting for the torrents of water crash with a thunderous thud on the rocks below. From the Brazilian side, you will enjoy a different view of the Falls during a walking tour through the passages that connect the different observation points for a panoramic view of the falls framed by a myriad of rainbows. Overnight at the selected hotel.

DAY 04: IGUAZU

Breakfast at the hotel.

Full day Argentine Falls tour. Spectacular views walking in the heart of the jungle. This tour visits Iguazú; National Park walking along the paths that cross the jungle and lead to the falls. The lower path runs along about 1.200 meters by the river to see the foot of some of the cascades. The upper path allows the view from the top.  After walking and taking a short ride on the train we will arrive to the footbridge over the Devil’s Throat. The feeling of the magnitude and strength of the water falling is overwhelming and unpaired. The wild noise is so high that it can be heard various kilometers away. The mist over the Devil’s Throat is such that endless rainbows are formed. Overnight.

DAY 05: IGUAZU-EL CALAFATE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer out to the airport to take a flight to El Calafate. El Calafate is in the Patagonian steppe, on the border of Argentino Lake. It is the hub to visit different parts of “Los Glaciares” National Park.  Reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the selected hotel.

DAY 06: EL CALAFATE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Full day tour to the World Heritage Site of Perito Moreno Glacier. The majesty of nature at its best. Seeing it, almost within touching distance, is one of nature’s most incredible experiences. This wonderful scenic area, Perito Moreno Glacier and Argentino Lake, are one of world’s most scenic areas, declared “Universal Heritage” by the UNESCO. In front of the glacier, there is a system of balconies and footbridges that allow you to enjoy walks along different paths and to appreciate some amazing views. Sometimes the deep silence is suddenly interrupted by the tremendous noise of huge pieces of ice that crack from the glacier and fall into the lake to float on the Canal de los Témpanos (Icebergs Channel). Box lunch included. Overnight.

                                                      

DAY 07: EL CALAFATE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Day at leisure.

Optional: Full day sailing to the barrier of ice floes and other glaciers. Overnight.

DAY 08: EL CALAFATE -BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer out to the airport to take the flight to Buenos Aires. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

DAY 09: DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
