ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVE IN VIENNA

On arrival at Vienna you will be transferred to the hotel for check in. Later the day is free at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Overnight in Vienna.

DAY 02: VIENNA

Today proceed for a Vienna city tour to see the most significant historical land. Explore the vibrant city of Vienna on a 24 hour hop-on hop-off bus tour. See top attractions including the Vienna State Opera, Hofburg Palace, Danube Tower, and Schonbrunn Palace. Climb aboard the open-air, double-decker bus and soak up 360-degree views of Vienna, hopping off to explore whenever you like.

Overnight in Vienna.

DAY 03: DAY TRIP TO BARTISLAVA

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing day trip to Bratislava. See Slovakia’s vibrant capital city on this day trip from Vienna to Bratislava. Led by an expert guide, explore the city’s top attractions, including Michael’s Gate and Grassalkovich Palace and some free time to wander on your own exploring Bratislava’s hidden gems. Your tour includes a scenic Danube River cruise via high-speed catamaran back to Vienna.

DAY 04: VIENNA TO INNSBRUCK BY TRAIN

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing day trip to Bratislava. See Slovakia’s vibrant capital city on this day trip from Vienna to Bratislava. Led by an expert guide, explore the city’s top attractions, including Michael’s Gate and Grassalkovich Palace and some free time to wander on your own exploring Bratislava’s hidden gems. Your tour includes a scenic Danube River cruise via high-speed catamaran back to Vienna.

DAY 05: INNSBRUCK

Today visit Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens to explore the sparkling world of Swarovski. The water spouting Giant will amaze you with his sparkling eyes. Inside, a whole crystal world awaits you – the Chambers of Wonder containing the Planet of Crystals, the Crystal Dome, the Crystal Theatre, the Ice Passage, the Floating Poem and much more. Later in the evening enjoy the Tyrolean . Soak up Tyrolean music and folk dancing during this show in Innsbruck. Settle into your seat at Alpensaal“ show venue in the city center and watch the Gundolf family perform the Schuhplattler, a fast-paced dance, along with other traditional steps that have been passed down through many generations. See the dancers, shoe slapping and listen to the Tyrolean songs and yodeling. To treat your taste buds to a hearty helping of Austrian cuisine, upgrade to include a 3-course meal, including delicious regional specialties. 

DAY 06: FLIGHT TO PRAGUE

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Prague. Arrival at Prague airport .Pickup and transfer to hotel. Rest day free for leisure activities. Overnight in Prague. 

DAY 07: BEST OF PRAGUE TOUR (BY FOOT, BUS & BOAT)

After breakfast, explore the beautiful city of Prague on foot, by bus and by a relaxing cruise down the River Vltava. With this combined tour you’ll get to admire one of the most jaw-dropping and historic European capital cities from all different angles. We’ll start the day with a walk through the picturesque Old Town of Prague, getting lost in amongst its maze of cobbled lanes and admiring its expansive squares. Spot ornate houses and churches on the way to the Jewish quarter – one of the city’s must-sees. Afterwards, hop on a minibus and enjoy a 20-minute panoramic drive to see the New Town and learn about its fascinating history dating back to the 20th century. On arrival at Prague Castle, located in Hradčany, you’ll get to explore and admire the largest ancient castles in the world. Then, enjoy a short break to have some lunch. The route continues along the steep Nerudova Street, a historic street linking the castle to the oldest bridge in Prague, Charles Bridge. Here you’ll hop on a boat for a short cruise down the River Vltava, the longest in the country. After crossing Charles Bridge, we’ll return to the Old Town where the tour comes to an end.

DAY 08: KARLOVY VARY & MOSER GLASS FACTORY 

After breakfast, proceed for Karlovy Vary and Moser Glass Factory tour. Enjoy the chance to try out the healing properties of the springs that have attracted visitors since the 1700’s. Situated in the area of western Bohemia, Karlovy Vary has a history dating back to the Middle-Ages. With a long established reputation as a spa town, it boasts 12 main springs, 300 smaller ones and the warm-water Tepla River. Legend tells that the healing qualities of the springs were first acclaimed by the city’s founder, King Charles IV, in 1370. Another celebrated aspect of the city is its heritage of glass and crystal manufacturing, with the Moser Factory leading the way in this industry. Reflect on the beauty and see first-hand the shining examples of many historical and prizewinning glass and crystal creations, as well as learn more of the distinctive qualities of crystal and the history of the Moser Company. Overnight stay.

DAY 09: DEPARTURE FROM PRAGUE

After breakfast, check-out from hotel and transfer to airport for flight onwards.
