Itinerary

DAY 01: MEXICO CITY

Welcome to Mexico City! After your arrival, you will be transfer to your hotel and have the rest of day free to relax at the hotel.

DAY 02: CITY ORIENTATION TOUR WITH ANTHROPOLOGY MUSEUM

After a breakfast proceed to enjoy a city tour.

We will visit the most representative places of this great metropolis with more than 20 million inhabitants. The first part we will walk the square of the Constitution or ZÓCALO, it is the third largest It is the third largest square in the world. On we will find the first attractions to visit. We will enter (if possible) to the National Palace, located in the square of the Constitution or ZÓCALO, where we will admire the famous murals of DIEGO RIVERA, and our guide gives us a wide panorama through them of the history of Mexico. Then we will enter the Metropolitan Cathedral, the largest church in Latin America, and where we can appreciate among other things, the famous “Holy Christ of the Poison” or “black Christ” who say it is very miraculous. At the side of the cathedral are the ruins of TEMPLO MAYOR, which is just the heart of the birth of the great Tenochtitlan, which we will see from outside. We will move in the vehicle to the PLAZA of the three cultures, which shows vestiges of pre-Hispanic, colonial and modern constructions. We found in this place the church where SAN JUAN DIEGO was baptized. From the outside our guide will show and explain the main points. We go to a handicrafts market, for a visit of approximately 30 minutes, so that our passengers can acquire their souvenirs and typical gifts. From here, we will admire from the vehicle “El Paseo Reforma” with its monument to the independence commonly called “El Angel”. In case the authorities allow it, we can go down to take a photograph with the most important monument in Mexico. We will continue and admire from the vehicle the forest of CHAPULTEPEC where is located the castle that was residence of the Emperor Maximilian and of Mexican presidents, the lake, the National Auditorium, and the Museum of Anthropology. There is no stopping at these sites. Visit at the end of the world-famous Museum of Anthropology, to see the main Aztec and Mayan halls, for about an hour. After this amazing tour we will be back to the hotel.

DAY 03: XOCHIMILCO, FRIDA KAHLO MUSEUM AND COYOACAN TOUR

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and proceed to the tour.

XOCHIMILCO is also known as “The Floating gardens” is the last stronghold of the lake on which Mexico City was built. The excursion includes a walk in “TRAJINERA” (BARCA) through these pre-Hispanic channels. XOCHIMILCO is currently one of the favorites places for Mexican families for recreation. We will continue to the center of the famous and Colonial district of Coyoacan. Entrance to the “Blue House” or “FRIDA KAHLO Museum” where the renowned painter lived intensely, thus emerging most of his paintings. After the tour we will be back to the hotel.

DAY 04: MEXICO CITY – CANCUN

Breakfast at the hotel. After the breakfast you will be transfer to the MEX airport.

Arrival at Cancun.

After your arrival you will be transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day.

DAY 05: CHICHEN ITZA

This wonderful and amazing architectural ensemble is in the center of the Yucatecan jungle. The construction of its main buildings did not begin until the year 600 BC. The main building is known as Kukulcan Temple, is 23 m. high and was built over the previous temples. The temple of the warriors is an impressive set of terraces, columns, pillars, and patios. The ball game, where the ancient Mayas practiced this popular game measures 83 m. Long. We will visit a Cenote where you can swim or just admire this gift of the nature.

After the tour we will be back to the hotel.
