DAY 02: WASHINGTON DC CITY TOUR

Visit National Museum of the US Army: (Opening in Jun 2020)The official museum for the history of the United States Army is just 10 minutes from Mount Vernon. It will feature simulators, a cafeteria, a multi-dimensional theatre, indoor and outdoor performance space. Its Experiential Learning Center, a state-of the-art interactive resource center will feature geography, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (GSTEM) educational programs. The perfect attraction for groups!

DAY 03: VISIT SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM & PROCEED TO PHILADELPHIA

Meet the Tour Manager at the lobby, Today after breakfast check out and proceed to visit The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly

This Museum offers STEAM labs: These FREE 1-hour programs explore topics in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).

Proceed to Philadelphia and visit One Liberty Observation Deck

…DAY 04: GUIDED CITY TOUR OF PHILLY AND VISIT PENN MUSEUM

Meet the Tour Manager at the lobby, Today after breakfast proceed to guided city tour of Philadelphia

Explore Independence National Historic Park to see the Liberty Bell, Congress Hall where presidents George Washington and John Adams were inaugurated, and Independence Hall where both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed into being. Philadelphia is also home to one of the only remaining Revolutionary War battlefields: Fort Mifflin. This fairly undiscovered fort is generally un-crowded and full of potential for an educational and interesting attraction. Valley Forge should not be missed as well, with fully reconstructed buildings and excellent exhibits on the training, hardships, and victories of the Continental Army.

Later visit US Mint: Originally opened in 1792 as “Ye Old Mint,” the Philadelphia facility is one of four responsible for the production of circulating coinage in the United States; it also produces numismatic products, including proof, uncirculated, and commemorative coins, Congressional Gold Medals and silver, and gold bullion. Free, self-guided, information-rich tours (audio optional) students will experience the fascinating minting process through soundproof windows – start to finish!

Visit to Penn Museum: Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology, one of the world’s greatest archaeology and anthropology research museums and the largest university museum in the United States. DAY 05: DEPARTURE FROM PHILADELPHIA
