ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT TRINIDAD (PORT OF SPAIN)
Welcome to the international airport of Trinidad, Port of Spain. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

DAY 02: TRINIDAD CITY TOUR
An introduction to Port of Spain, the cosmopolitan capital of Trinidad. We cover all main points of interest like historical buildings, commercial and residential centers and other sites. We pass Art Galleries, Museums, Parks, Emperor Valley Zoo and Botanical Garden. A panoramic view of the city from the Lady Young Lookout concludes our tour.

DAY 03: ASA WRIGHT NATURE CENTER TRINIDAD
Visit the world-famous Asa Wright Nature Centre, a 200-acre bird sanctuary and conservation Centre, located deep in the hills of the Northern Range. Following the 1 1/2 hours drive to the nature Centre, you will be met by your knowledgeable guide for an informative nature walk through the lush tropical forest with its exotic trees and colorful flowers. While actual sightings are not guaranteed, you’ll want to keep a watchful eye out for exotic birds, such as toucans, manikins and hummingbirds as well as graceful butterflies that live in this unique environment. Following your 1 1/2 hour nature walk, we depart for the return trip to your hotel or you can arrange for a local lunch that is served at the Old Plantation House before the drive back to the hotel. There is also a waterfall with a pool where you can bathe.

DAY 04: TRINIDAD – TOBAGO
This morning we transfer you to the Piarco Airport for your flight to Tobago. On arrival at Tobago airport you will be met and transferred to the hotel. The evening is at leisure.

DAY 05: TOBAGO ISLAND TOUR
A full day’s tour, giving you the chance to see the very best of this beautiful island.
You will see sights along both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island. From lush green rainforest to stunning secluded beaches, exhilarating waterfalls and historical sites, take in some of the most breathtaking views of the Caribbean, soak in the atmosphere, and experience unspoilt Tobago at its very best.
Lunch is included at Jemma’s Treehouse, the most famous restaurant on the island. (For some dates the restaurant may be substituted for similar when closed) Here you can experience traditional Tobagan recipes, which utilise the fruits and produce you have been shown on your island journey. Remember to bring your swimming clothes, and dive into the spectacular Argyle Waterfall to cool down.

DAY 06: TOBAGO RAINFOREST TOUR
We have an early start today, so we can catch the Rainforest and its inhabitants at their best. We drive along the Caribbean coast and explore Castara Bay with its traditional clay oven bakery (open certain days only), the secluded and picture postcard Englishman’s Bay, and many other picturesque views along the way. We stop to try island fruits and produce, before driving into the oldest protected Rainforest in the Western Hemisphere. At the Main Ridge we can walk the trail to experience an incredible ecosystem at work. There is an abundance of flora and fauna, along with the magnificent birdsong, and the chance to spot many species of birds. Search for land crabs, snakes, iguanas and other animals on the way to the gold and silver falls. Make sure to spot the White tailed sabrew ing hummingbird, plus many other species, including our national bird the Rufous Vented Chachalacha or Cocrico. We have lunch in Castara on the way back.

DAY 07: DEPARTURE FROM TOBAGO
This morning transfer to Scarborough Airport for your flight back home connecting via Trinidad.
